CTS Model Overview
The Cadillac CTS is a powerful, agile and very comfortable luxury sport sedan with a style unlike anything else in its class. CTS-V is a premium high-performance machine that's in a class by itself.
CTS
	The CTS story begins with GM's global luxury car architecture, a rigid, computer-engineered structure that's one of the most advanced automotive platforms in the world. Under the hood, CTS offers a choice of 2.8L and 3.6L V6 engines, both bristling with high-tech features like Variable Valve Timing (VVT). A precison-engineered Aisin 6-speed manual transmission is standard and a 5-speed automatic with tap-up/tap-down Driver Shift Control is also available. The sophisticated fully independent suspension was rigorously tested and tuned at Germany's legendary Nürburgring race track, to ensure outstanding ride and handling characteristics. In the cabin, the amenities are everything you would expect in a Cadillac. Standard features include heated front bucket seats, a 7-speaker audio system and, of course, OnStar°.
CTS-V
	In the Cadillac CTS-V, high performance and genuine luxury come together to create an immensely rewarding driver's car. In the engine bay there's a 6.0L LS2 V8 that sends 400 hp and 395 lb.-ft. of torque to the low-profile W-rated rear tires via a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. Premium chassis upgrades abound, including massive Brembo disc brakes with 4-piston calipers, larger-diameter front shock absorbers, stiffer springs and thicker stabilizer bars. Inside, the CTS-V cabin has been similarly enhanced to create a unique performance driving environment. The front bucket seats are deeply contoured and feature sueded fabric inserts on the seat cushions and lower seatbacks. A unique steering wheel and upgraded instrumentation, including a lateral acceleration display, are also standard equipment.
