Among its many advanced features is an Active Fuel Management® system that reduces fuel consumption during low demand circumstances by deactivating 4 cylinders. The transition is almost imperceptible and when more power is required, the engine instantly returns to V8 power.

The race-inspired TAPshift feature integrated into Grand Prix GXP's automatic transmission allows you to shift up or down a gear at will with a touch of the steering wheel-mounted paddles.
